About
Amara Kitchen, formally the Farm Cooking School, is located on Roots to River Farm in New Hope, PA. Founded by Chef Ian Knauer, Amara Kitchen is a space where cooks of all levels can come together to learn about and enjoy great food and real community.
All of our events are held at Amara Kitchen and Tasting Room, located at 3175 Sugan Rd, New Hope, PA 18938 in Bucks County.
About Our Classes
Our classes are led by experienced chefs who are passionate about sharing their knowledge and love of cooking. With small class sizes, everyone has the opportunity to ask questions, practice techniques hands-on, and receive personalized guidance.
Each class runs approximately four hours and concludes with a shared meal featuring the dishes you’ve prepared. Most classes include take-home recipes so you can recreate the experience in your own kitchen.
About Our Dinners
Held monthly, our farm dinners celebrate the freshest ingredients coming straight from Roots to River Farm’s fields and greenhouses. Each menu is thoughtfully crafted around what’s in peak season, highlighting the flavors of the harvest.
A selection of aperitivo, local wines, and local beers is available for purchase to enjoy alongside your meal.
About Our Tasting Room
Join us every first Saturday for Amara Tastings at the farm. Sample our signature Amara Aperitivo, created from radicchio grown at Roots to River Farm, and experience its unique, farm-driven flavor.
Alongside the tasting, we offer seasonal light bites, perfect for savoring a relaxed afternoon surrounded by the beauty of the farm.
About Pizza & Market Wednesdays
Every Wednesday from 2-7PM, our weekly farm market is stocked with our fresh organic produce, farm-made goods like soups and sauces, Amara Aperitivo, and brick oven pizza - all made right here on the farm.
About Private Events
