Fresh Start: Healthy Cooking and Yoga for Digestive Health


Start the new year right with a digestive health focused cooking class, nutritional analysis, and yoga session! Overindulge too much during the holidays? Or just looking to learn more about how food and movement affects your digestive health? Then this class is for you!

We will cook together from 10 to 12 with Kendra, followed by a 45 minute restorative vinyasa flow yoga class with Haley featuring asanas that benefit the digestive system. After yoga, we will dine together on a delicious and healthy lunch. 

Be sure to wear comfortable clothes and bring a yoga mat (we will have a few extra mats just incase).

Sample Menu

  • Cucumber-Mint "Spa" Water and Iced Green Ginger Tea
  • Butternut-Cheese Fondue with Apples, Pears & Assorted Crudites
  • Kale/Mixed Green Salad with Candied Walnuts and Ginger Vinaigrette
  • Chicken with Muhumara and Spaghetti Squash 
  • Quinoa-Coconut Pudding or Poached Pears with Cashew Cream

Instructor Bios

Kendra Thatcher, a Lambertville native, grew up with a hollow leg.  After graduating from college she grazed her way through the Big Apple and into the Food Network studios where she fell even more in love with the simplicity of good food.  After a glorious stint in production, she realized that curing ham for the camera wasn't enough, instead she wanted to help cure the community. Now residing in Bucks County, she's combining her passion with her past to make one hell-of-a case for health food done right. Kendra is a Dietetic Technician, Registered with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics who is pursuing her Masters in Nutrition.

Haley Knauer is an RYT 200 yoga instructor certified with Yoga Alliance. She is passionate about making yoga accessible to everyone, independent of skill level or experience. Her classes are designed to be restorative and empowering. leaving students relaxed and with a sense of accomplishment. Haley is also an Integrative Nutrition Counselor certified through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition (IIN) and the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP). She creates and implements both individual and corporate wellness programs.
