This summer, kids will participate in supervised activities that include:
Learning about kitchen safety, basic cooking skills and learning how to read and write recipes (Math and reading comprehension for fun!)
Touring the farm, meeting farm animals, and learning where our food comes from and how it is grown.
Foraging the woods and learn what is edible and what is not.
Plant identification and uses in the kitchen, as well as basic nutrition.
Introduction to grilling techniques - one of the safest ways for kids to cook; preserving and pickling techniques; and ice cream making!
A “Mystery Box” cooking challenge on the last day!
Partaking in a farm scavenger hunt and other FUN camp activities!
These are just some of the activities that your child will participate in during the week. Our camp staff will provide a safe and nurturing environment, while expanding your child’s knowledge of the kitchen and their cooking skills.

Lunch will be prepared on site by the campers everyday. Meals will include a protein, vegetable, starch, and dessert. Examples include handmade pasta dishes, pizza, tacos, BBQ, fruit tarts, and fresh made ice cream. Snacks will also be made or provided. Water will be available at all times.
